I am not open to discussion.
Now leave me alone.
When I was in Melbourne earlier this year for the Sticky Zine Fair, we were staying at a friends house. We spent the evening watching My Kitchen Rules, probably because we could talk over the top of it and nobody would get upset.
Anyway there was this brother /sister team from the Sunshine
Coast. My friend (who is gay) was getting really upset with the brother and all his mincing around, playing up to the camera. My friend said that he must have gone through some kind of slang dictionary to find non offensive exclamations of frustration. Now I know people (I must admit I kind of do it too) who make up sayings hoping that they get taken up by everyone and you can feel that somehow you’ve influenced how people talk.
Last month I was teaching some teenagers how to make some handmade notebooks, and there was a bunch of girls who were friends all sitting together. I had taught them something and was approaching them to say to come up and see how to do the next stage. One of the girls was not quite getting there and trying to rush, and her friend said “Calm the Farm!” And all I could think was how many people would be upset that this little half-wit of awfulness had now influenced that language of our youth.
There is no justice.
is not always for the better.
Worst seller back despite protests.

I probably over exaggerated, as I think I sold three of the original print run, of 10, but yes, it’s back!
Other Goose, familiar and unfamiliar nursery rhymes. Get it now on ETSY, which has been terrible of late. It used to be pretty good, but now when…
I kind of think I look like this too.
But I can’t get me right either.
Hey someone did a picture of me. Someone who’s never seen me but somehow knows.
I’ve done that on occasion too. Draw someone I didn’t know.
Not walk around nudey beard like this with a Wizard hat. To be truthful this is how I wish I looked.
It’s raining so hard outside
Who would want to be out?
Not this time.
Songs of Protest 10 out now
But this isn’t in it. Just to annoy you, I posted this, just to give you a heads up on whats going down.
Find it HERE
And find this picture in the next installment Songs of Protest 11, which I’m sure will be out soon enough. I’m angry enough.
I forgot to add the picture to the last post.
Waffy soup, from Waffy Waf and the big dream screen, from my worst seller of the same name.
There are some new exciting things coming up, but as nothing is set in stone, I’ll keep it under wraps.
Thank you to the few brave souls who made it to the last Eveleigh Market(deluge). You made my day. Hopefully the next one will be a bit drier. I have…
